Disable native WordPress comments while using Disqus?

  • Since we’re offloading comment management to Disqus, it would be great to disable WordPress native comments entirely and prevent spam and such. While the form is replaced on the front-end, that doesn’t prevent automated bots from submitting fake comments through WordPress’s endpoints.

    Is there a way to accomplish this?
