pic size smaller and no zoom using gallery vs single pic

Hello, first of all thank you for making this plugin! Very nice work.

I notice that when making a gallery using wordpress 5.1.1 and twenty seventeen theme vs 2.1 that when the lightbox opens it does not give option to zoom on desktop. Zoom works fine on mobile. Zoom also works on desktop for single pictures, but does not seem to zoom and also makes the pictures display slightly smaller when on desktop and loaded from the wordpress gallery. let me know what you think…. thanks!
