    Hi,

I am trying to add a custom icon (free plugin) but after trying to add it nothing appear.

I’ve tried it on another website and if it works for me.

After trying to add the icon a red error message appears ‘thumb_error’ in the pop-up window.

    Thank you for reaching out!

If you have issues uploading the icons (e.g. you receive a “Thumb error” message), then most likely you have set “allow_url_fopen” to “off”. Please turn it to “on”. If you don’t know how to do this please ask your server admin or hosting company.

I found the problem. Hope that can help some people.

The plugin: iThemes Security, don’t allow to upload custom icons so just deactivated it; once done, you can activated iThemes Security again.
