Handling thousands of product variations within WooCommerce

    Hi there,

    I have a client that has products with ~60000 variations/product, ~12 attributes/product. Was wandering what’s the limit of variations WooCommerce works with? Would you recommend WooCommerce as a solution for this case ?

  • Hi @wpbuilder0,

    It is certainly possible but unless you have adequate hosting for that size of a store I wouldn’t recommend setting up that many products with that many variations. It would seriously bog things down if even one tiny thing goes wrong.

    If stock management isn’t important you might be better served setting up the bulk of the attributes as Product Add-Ons instead so that it doesn’t affect your site so significantly.
