conflict with php 7.2

  • Can’t access WP dashboard from /admin /wp-login or /wp-admin – returning a 500 error for all. Hosting company says their error logs show a conflict with between Ocean WP and php 7.2

    I tried switching to another theme and was able to access the dashboard. I also ruled out any plugin conflict.

  • Will be good for your hosting company to provide logs. I am on 7.2 with no issues myself.

    ALl your plugins and theme are up to date with the latest version? Try to disable all the plugins except Ocean Extra and check it works or not. If it works, then enable plugins one by one to check for a possible conflict.
