comments turned off issue

  • Everything was running fairly smooth until I came across this problem. I’ve run into an issue if I turn off comments for a post. On the main blog page, everything is fine. If the title of the blog entry is clicked, the footer shifts to the right and the body-back image (with the logo) disappears on that entries page (in Safari and Firefox). In Explorer just the footer is shifted. And it says ‘comments are closed’.

    The entries on here are for testing, I’d like to solve this issue before I start to populate it.

    Any idea what might be the issue?

  • You could start by validating your theme/site. You have quite a few validation errors that could be contributing to your problem.

    Any news regarding the issue?
    I do not have any validation errors but still, once you select a post to diplay, the image disappears and the footer shifts to the right.

    I have contacted the creator of the theme and was able to convince them that there is something not right.

    They will have a look….let’s see when ??
