    I have my new site up and running, and all was running great, and I went public with the membership, then all of a sudden, noticed e-mails from the site had stopped over a few days. I went into Easy WP SMTP and found errors. They look like this:

    CLIENT -> SERVER: EHLO mydomain.com
    CLIENT -> SERVER: AUTH LOGIN
    CLIENT -> SERVER: cHJlbWllcnBhcsdfgsdfoZXNjbC5jb20=
    CLIENT -> SERVER: VH1iTsdfgdsI3UQ==
    CLIENT -> SERVER: MAIL FROM:<[email protected]>
    CLIENT -> SERVER: RCPT TO:<[email protected]>
    SMTP ERROR: RCPT TO command failed: 550 5.1.0 <[email protected]>: Sender address rejected: User unknown in relay recipient table
    CLIENT -> SERVER: QUIT
    SMTP Error: The following recipients failed: [email protected]: <[email protected]>: Sender address rejected: User unknown in relay recipient table

    [note: precise e-mail addresses and some of the random strings of characters have been replaced]

    Can anyone help me understand how to fix this?

    Update for other people who may stumble across this: my e-mail provider has told me that this error occurred because [email protected] is not an actual e-mailbox at my domain. They tell me I need to create the actual e-mailbox.

    I will be doing that today, and hope that will resolve the problem.

    Hi, I am also curious to know if it fixes your issue.

    Thank you

    Yes, this definitely fixed my issue. Since creating a real mailbox then putting its credentials into Easy WP SMTP, e-mail sending has worked perfectly for the past two weeks.

    The e-mail host for this particular site is Rackspace, FYI.
