Can’t upload media in WordPress 2.8 with Modern Clix Theme?

I’m trying to upload a picture onto my blog. I am using WordPress 2.8 and the Modern Clix theme. I use the browser uploader, and it says it’s uploading, then it stops (giving me the impression it’s uploaded) and I go check my media library and there’s nothing there! I’ve tried resizing my picture because I thought it was a size issue, but still no luck, any help?
