Removing old copyright container

    Hi Satish
    On all my pages, there is a stubborn bit of copyright text which I can’t seem to address or remove! Below, I have copied the element, with all the styles. I have tried adding additional CSS using the editor, but the various things I have tried will not remove it. Can anyone suggest how I might remove it, or at least change it to something useful, please?

  • Were you able to get this working? Looking at the footer area right now I see the menu links in there. If you don’t want those there, you should be able to just assign an empty menu to the Appearance->Menus->Manage Locations section and it remove that content.

    Otherwise you could use something like the following in Appearance->Customize->Additional CSS

    display: none;
}

    Jarret – Thank you for helping. Using a blank menu in the footer has helped, but there is still an unwanted text link to Hereford Computer Help. I don’t understand where the code for this is, or how I even managed to get it there.

    It appears on every page.

    I am still working on it, so any further suggestions would be helpful, thanks.

    Jarrett – again thanks. Your suggestion of additional CSS works when I use the #copyright-container {display: none;}
