    Hello,

I am unable to log into my website (theinspiringdad.com) because Jetpack has locked it and I’m unable to get back in – even after sending myself the special link via email.

Your IP address 108.167.1xx.xx has been flagged for potential security violations. You can unlock your login by sending yourself a special link via email.

    When I click the link to Login or reset password, I get an error page with the following error message: {“error”:”Bad Request”,”message”:”Invalid input.”}

Any help would be greatly appreciated it!

I don’t have the option to contact you because it’s saying support is for paid plans only…

@inspiringdad – I have disabled the Protect module and now you’ll be able to access your site. To permanently resolve this, you need to go to go to WordPress.com > My Sites > Settings > Security expand the Prevent and block malicious login attempts option, and add your IP to the whitelist. Finally, turn on the Prevent and block malicious login attempts option.

@jtallman – – Can you please start your own thread, as per the Forum Welcome?

    Thank you!

@fotis – When I try to save my changes, I get an error “An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again later.

I first have to enable “Prevent and block malicious login attempts” before it will allow me to enter my IP. As soon as I hit the “save savings” button, I get the error that pops up in the top right of the screen. (I have a screen shot if needed).

However, it does allow me to log into my site now, so I’m not sure what that issue is. I went back into settings and the option is still enabled and my IP address is saved under the whitelist addresses.

Thanks for your help – I greatly appreciate it!

    Hi John –

Good morning ?? It sounds like we’re making some progress here. Is that right? You can now access the site again?

    A few thoughts:

    – Do you have any other plugins enabled on the site?
    – Any browser extensions?
    – Does a different browser work successfully?

Your connection looks great from our end. Which makes me wonder if something else is running interference.

    Hello.
    Sorry for the late reply.
Yes, we’ve made progress! I’m able to access might site and I’m not encountering any issues (that I know of).

I keep having this one error show up in my error logs, but I don’t think it’s related to this issue or has anything to do with Jetpack:

[12-Mar-2019 09:16:41 UTC] PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library ‘/opt/php70/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20151012/ixed.7.1.lin’ – /opt/php70/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20151012/ixed.7.1.lin: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0

Thank you for your help! I greatly appreciate it! ??

That’s definitely not related to Jetpack. I recommend contacting your hosting provider about it.
