• I am trying to move from WPML to Polylang and I tried the plugin WPML to Polylang. However, when I go to the WPML importer I get the following:

    No language has been created with Polylang KO

    And due to this I can’t make the import. Others check OK.

    Hi,

    The importer will create the languages for you (the same that you have with WPML). That’s why you must not create the languages. If you already created them, you can delete them in the Polylang languages page.

    I only have the languages that was created in wpml… haven’t created anything new… but still get the error…

    It’s strange that Polylang detects languages if they have never been created.
    Did you try other multilingual plugins?

    Could you try this?
    * Deactivate WPML.
    * Activate Polylang
    * Go in Languages > Settings > Tools, check “Remove all Polylang data when using the “Delete” link on the plugins screen” and hit “Save Changes”.
    * Deactivate Polylang
    * Delete Polylang (and accept to delete all data).
    * Install and activate Polylang again.
    * Try to restart the Import process.
