    If selecting a decimal database field it would be desirable if the user could specify the number of decimal places for that field. At present it defaults to 4, which at times is too much.

    The Currency form element uses 2 places, so there is that alternative. You can set a different precision (number of decimal places) in the database directly. This is explained here:

    I made the change in the database to get what I wanted. I just think to have some type of formatting option within Manage DataBase Fields would be good.
