Hi,

I have a problem with noindex.
Google search console alert me with a message: “noindex” detected in the “robots” meta tag.
So my web site is not visible on search engines.

Please can anyone help me?

I’ve reviewed your homepage’s code and do not see a noindex in the robots meta tag. If you’ve made changes to your site, it can take up to a week for Google to index the changes you made, depending on how often your website is crawled. So for now, we’ll have to wait for Google to crawl your site again.

Sometimes you can speed up this process as described in this KB: Fetch as Googlebot

I followed the instructions in the link you gave me.
The last scan was on 25th February and it detected the noindex problem.
Then I clicked on Request Indexing.
Do you think that now I have to waiting for some days and then see if there are some changes?

Hi,

We are not sure why Google is saying your homepage has a noindex tag. We did a curl check on it and it shows a 200. This means Google is expected to crawl and index the page.

Indeed, we can see the homepage appearing in Google here.

If Google is still tossing out a noindex error we suggest the following actions:

1. Clear all your caching from your theme, plugin, server, CDN like CloudFlare or browser. If you are not sure how to clear caching from theme/plugin please speak to those authors. If you want to clear cache from the server, please speak to your host provider. To clear the cache from a browser use this guide:?https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-clear-my-browsers-cache/.

2. Delete your sitemap in Google. Doing so will not hurt the SEO of the site. This guide explains more (scroll to the bottom):?https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/183669?hl=en.

4. Monitor the results to see if the noindex error resolves.

Dear expert,

When we enter the site name on facebook messanger, instead of showing the data from meta tag its showing junk character to the recipient.
can someone help please, i suspect this happens after activating the seo plugin, which is already deactivated now still the issue persist.

I have the same issue with my siteFlower Delivery Website and getting an issue “No: ‘noindex’ detected in ‘robots’ meta tag” by the search console as we are using Yoast SEO plugin in woocommerce and not getting where to disable no tag meta
