Set posts to send by category

    Will Subscribe 2 let viewers subscribe to posts via categories?
    Or will they need to receive all posts if they subscribe?

    I would like to know that too, as I don’t see a way for anyone to set their chosen topics, without being logged in as a user to the site. I might have missed something.

    Subscribe2 has 2 types of subscribers, Public and Registered. Only Registered Subscribers can control their subscription by post category, these settings are available after they log into the WordPress admin area.

    But we don’t want to have them be registered on the site, just be able to have a drop down to subscribe to a ‘category’ or ‘group’ or the whole site via a widget on the sidebar.
    email subscribers plugin does this but it is just too big and buggy for our needs really. I was hoping for a small simple plugin.. we do not do news letters or spam our visitors, this is a news site I am working on.
