Featured Image on Posts Page

I switched to Conica Theme and created a new posts page, which I created with the Elementor plugin, but it doesn’t matter how I created it, I can’t get a featured image to display on the posts page, with a heading I want to display above the scroll of posts. I’ve tried all of the page attributes template settings (Default, Elementor Canvas, Elementor Full Width, Gutenberg, left sidebar, and full width) The desired elements show in the various editors. In customizer, I have the blog lists page set at top display format, but none of the options display a featured image. Is there a way to display a featured image and some text on the posts page?
