In dashboard but can’t see blog

  • After I havd followed the installation instruction, all wordpress files were uploaded by ftp to my public html directory.

    I was led to the installation and everything in my wp-config.php were correctly spelt.

    I was succesfully login as admin in the dashboard, but then when i click the visit site, the page still shows : “Welcome to the home of domainname.
    To change this page, upload your website into the public_html directory”

    can you please tell me what have I done wrong?

  • this is a fresh installation, so I suggest check if you .htaccess file created in public_html and remove it if it is there.

    Also, can you give the site URL?
