Can’t Upload 2 Different Plugins

  • I am trying to install 2 different plugins on my site (Caffeinated Content and WP Uniquefier v3.3) I checked the zipped files before trying t upload and there were no bugs. But both times I received this message:
    “Unable to create directory /home/daydetox/public_html/detoxdrink/wp-content/uploads/2009/06. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”
    I don’t know what this means, but I need these plugins quickly and can’t figure out what to do.
    I hope someone has an easy answer…? Thanks!

  • If you’re installing these plugins manually from your local machine, you need to unzip the zipped files and FTP the individual plugin folders to wp-content/plugins.
