yahoo and wordpress

I’m new to all this. I’m wanting to use WP to build and maintain pages on my existing web site. Yahoo is my webhost/ISP. They say they’ll: “activate WordPress on your site, and provide the technical infrastructure you need to run WordPress (PHP and MySQL)” but they don’t otherwise ‘provide support.’

I assume I can use wp on my web hosted by yahoo, just that I’ll have to turn to others if I run into problems, correct?
