    Hello,

first of all, this is a great plugin!
I just have an issue with editing the “customer-processing-order”-Mail.

Before installing Kadence I overrode the customer-processing-oder-template in the Woocommerce-Mail-Settings to customize it (via copy-template-button in the Woocommerce-Mail-Settings), but lateron I deleted that copy (via button in the Woocommerce-Mail-Settings), because I found the Kadence Plugin that looked easy to customize.

Now when opening all the EMail-Templates in the Kadence Editor, every template works and is editable, except the customer-processing-order-Mail. It just doesn’t load.

    – Resetting and new installation of the Kadence-PlugIn didn’t work.
    – Overriding the Mail-template manually in the theme-folder and the woocommerce email-folder on server didn’t change a thing.
    – I work with the Germanized-PlugIn, but that overrides other templates in its email-templates-folder, like e.g. the receipts-template but not the customer-processing-order.

Would be very thankful for help or ideas!

    Hey,
Are you selecting an actual order or just viewing with the mockup order?

    Hi,

I can’t select the mockup-order. But it works with recent orders.
I want to customize the mockup, so all future Mails look the same.

    Hey,
The order selection is just for preview. There is no way to create emails for certain orders.

Some plugins add data to order information and look for that information when an email is created. If it’s not there then an error can be created and the preview fails.

The mockup order is just a simple fake order which pulls all the normal woocommerce information. A real order on your site through will have extra information that third-party plugins add and allow for more accurate previewing.

    Does that make sense?

    Hi Ben,

ok, I think I got that.
So I just tested it again with real orders to see the changes.
When I select a previous order (customer-processing-order-mail) for customizing in the Kadence editor I can change the Headline, Subheadline and the subject text and they override the default settings from Woocommerce. That’s good. But somehow I can’t change the body of that E-Mail. It always takes the default bodytext, no matter what I change in the Kadence designer.

I hope it gets clearer now.

I don’t know the Germanized-PlugIn enough but my guess is that it’s editing this, Can you try deactivating for a quick test?

    Hey Ben,

thank you for your support. I thought of deactivating the Germanized-PlugIn, but it finally just worked by copying backup data of the Kadence plugin and the woocommerce email templates. So it had nothing to to with Germanized, rather an data overriding issue.

Thanks again for your help and fast respond!

    Kind regards,

    Hello, Raphael,

maybe you’ll still read my post: I guess I have the same problem as you – with GERMANIZED:

Could you please explain what exactly you copied where. I didn’t get that, sorry.

    Danke und viele Grü?e

    Martin
