blog torrent

  • Hi everyone,
    Just wanted to let y’all know about the Blog Torrent preview release that came out yesterday.

    Its a simple php based torrent tracker with the potential to make torrents more accessible and they want to work towards integration with WordPress and others. It might make an interesting plugin down the line…

  • Oh, cool! A plugin that helps us pirate stuff. Yay.

    Just came across this myself, good stuff… and no it’s not necessarily used for pirating stuff you know.
    Anyone know of a way to have it refer to the memberlist who are already registered for your blog, rather than having to have people reregister for the blog torrent section?

    well, its not a WP plugin yet… so that’s one of the things someone could work on. I haven’t poked at it myself yet but i figured that someone with more knowhow than me might be interested, so i’m passing it along.

    Unless I read it wrong, regardless of whether you already have bittorrent you’re going to need to download another piece of software to install? Sounds bunk to me…
