**URGENT** 404

    HI,

    Every page is 404 after I tried to use the troubleshooting mode. I did nothing but activate troubleshooting mode and disable straight after. All pages go 404.

    Please, help me asap!

    It turned out I had to save the permalink settings. Why does it happen tho?

    Hiya,

    Without knowing your setup, it’s hard to say, but the first thought is a plugin or theme doing something strange with rewrites, and that them being disabled for some users, but not all, confused whatever tried doing strange things. Re-saving permalinks after disabling Troubleshooting would then add everything back in the right places, as the rewrite file is .. well … rewritten by WordPress at that point.
