User Icons?

  • My apologies if this has been approached and I just couldn’t find it…
    Wondering if there’s a script, hack, plugin, what have you, that would allow for individual users to have an icon appear with their posts, without having to remember to script in an img tag with each and every post…something built-in that would call to the individual user’s assigned image?

  • You can check out https://www.gravatar.com. They have a plugin for WP thats fairly simple to install. It is ‘made’ to incorperate icon’s with users in your Comments list, but I suppose if you included the php call line in your index php before your post that it would do the exact same thing. Only downside is that each author has to setup a (free) account at Gravatar and wait for their image to be ‘graded’. You’ll see what I mean after visiting the site.
