Editor can’t delete

Hi there,

Have struck a problem with my users who are editors who for some reason now can’t delete posts.

The red delete box doesn’t appear and if they use the quick delete link on the edit posts page they get a page not found error.

Administrators are fine.

Have deactivated all plugins and still no joy.

Had mailpress installed at one point but deleted it. I notice the capabilities it creates still exist though.

Also had role manager at one point but have since deleted it.

Any ideas?

The wp_capabilites table has correct default entries for the editors.

Other plugins include adminimize, but deactiviating this also didn’t help.
