• Hello! Thanks for an excellent plugin!

I have suggestions that can make this plugin even better:

    1. Enable a setting to have default to “yes” or “no” for autoposting. Now in my installation it is always set to yes by default. I would ideally want it to be set to no as default because sometimes I want to write manually in facebook, and sometimes I want to choose autopost and I dont want to risk doublepost. This is of course just a minor thing.

    2. Enable posting to facebook with specific text for each post, lets say “Today we talk about blablabla, check out my supersexy post about it” and then attach blog post.

    3. If possible enable a preview of how the post will look in facebook, perhaps somehow make use of the Facebook tool; https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
This is of course an advanced feature, but still would be cool if it’s technically possible.

  • HI there,

    Thank you for writing in,

    1) We have some issues with the latest version of the WordPress so that the yes an no options are now working properly.

Your double post is responsible for cache plugins so that please clear cache before publishing.

    2) Could you please elaborate this more clearly.

    3) The auto post is the response on your WordPress post publishes, you can not view the post before posting on your facebook. If we added such feature then there is no difference between the social share plugins and the auto-posting.

    Thank you!!

    Hello again!

Thank you for response! I’ll try explain in same order.

    1) I see so right now they are not working properly? That’s okay will be fixed later I’m sure.

    2) I mean that sometimes you want to write a specific text on facebook and maybe something different than the title / excerpt. In this case, there could be an optional custom title to be posted to facebook. Lets say you add another text-field and if the user writes something in it, then it will be taken instead of the title of the blog post. This way you can make the impression of being more “personal” on facebook by adding your own text.

Ideally, there would also be a possibility of having also a custom image, but that’s in my opinion not highest priority.

    3) Sure, it has similar functionality. But with autopost we can schedule the posting. I prefer to schedule my posts, so that I can sit back and relax and let the blog run itself. But sometimes I am not sure how the blog will look in Facebook. Instead of then doing it manually, if it would be possible to “preview” it, then one I could prepare everything in advance. I have no idea about how technical this would be, but I thought it could be useful.

    Best regards,

    HI there,

    Thank you for writing in,

    2) Sorry, it is not possible with this plugin.

    3) The auto-posting plugin is made for escaping the editing and the clicking other social related buttons for posting on your social site. If you want such a feature while you post your website posts then we suggest you check the social share plugins. The social plugin has all the features that you have mention except auto-posting.

    Thank you!!
