Had a message earlier that DNS servers had changed however all looks Ok except I have a message that to optimize the Wordfence Web Application Firewall which I have done previously when I installed Wordfence.

Looking into this message I see a path to the file however I do not recognize this path as it is not the path to my shared hosting area – the original file wordfence-waf.php is still where it should be however the path displayed on the Optimize Wordfence Firewall pop-up is incorrect?

FTP’d into the site and all files seem Ok – locations etc. and owner permissions seem Ok so I am stumped .. .. anyone else had this issue or know how to resolve ?

    Thanks

Is this a site installed in another WordPress site folder?
    Example :
    public_html/siteA
    public_html/siteA/siteB

    Hello,

Thanks for responding. No this is a single WordPress installation within a shared hosting environment – GoDaddy in this case – seems to be the path within .usr.ini and wordfence-waf.php are not the same as my sites path – GoDaddy haven mentioned a migration so something has changed but they are not being that helpful currently – everything has been running smoothly until this last week – no site just a blank page for the last few days .. ..

If I removed both files then I can get the site to function – put them back the WF creates the files but with a different path – change them to what I am told is the correct path and back to blank screen?

If they have changed something it would have been handy to have been told – if you have any ideas or pointers it would be appreciated – thanks!
