    Hey there,

Thanks for making this plugin. I’m trying to only show widgets/sections for specific urls, to have slightly different content show up on translations of my page. So, on the home page (https://dev.democracyrd.org/) on video would show up but when I go to the French translation of my page (https://dev.democracyrd.org/fr/) that video would be hidden and a different video would be visible.

This seems like the perfect plugin to do this but I cannot figure it out. I try to set the Dynamic Tag to ‘Site URL’ and ‘Show when condition is met’ and ‘Is equal to’ and then I put https://dev.democracyrd.org/ in the Conditional value box but nothing happens. I’ve also tried ‘Hide when condition’ and ‘Contains’ and I’ve put fr or fr/ in the Conditional value box but again nothing happens.

What am I doing wrong? Do I need some crazy if-then code? You have no documentation on how to set Conditional Values so I thought I’d post here. I bought Elementor Pro just to be able to use your plugin, but I can’t make it work!

    Thanks,
    Adam

    Hello,

a small trick is, to set some other fields with the same dynamic tags. So you can see what is inside the dynamic tag.

The dynamic tag Site-URL just delivers ur site URL (https://dev.democracyrd.org/) it will not deliver the “fr/”. Thats why it will not work.

So the good thing is, you did everything right. The bad thing is you can not get the information you need on that way.

My Idea would be to add something like Custom Advanced Fields. Add a field for your page, like language. In this field you add on the translation the fr/en/de etc. than u get get the field with the dynamic tags and set up your condition.

A other solution for someone who have more programming skills would be to add a Dynamic Tag with the current page language.

I hope we as able to help you. Feel free to ask again if you get any trouble.

Edit: Maybe it works if u do it with the dynamic tag “Post URL”. We can not test it, because we do not have the gtranslate plugin
