    untick the “serve as static files”-option (which requires your webserver to handle gzip compression and expiry) to have AO’s PHP-code serve the files with the correct headers and all should be fine.

    Thanks for the help, the note has improved a bit, but items related to “autoptimize” in ADD EXPIRES HEADERS and USE A CONTENT DELIVERYU NETWORK continue to be displayed.

    based on this

    you can see that there are 2 cache-control headers. the first one is AO’s;

    Cache-Control: max-age=30672000, public, immutable

    but the 2nd one overrides that;
    Cache-Control: max-age=3, must-revalidate, public, immutable

    this is probably due to a line in your site’s .htaccess and I have seen this (and specifically those 3 seconds) being added by WP Super Cache previously (but it depends on how that is configured).

    So you’ll have to “sanitize” your .htaccess to weed out the directive that adds the cache-control that overrides AO’s.

    those are 3rd party hosted files, so you can’t set expiry for them. for the google fonts one you could try CAOS for webfonts out?

    To fix that you’ll have to use a CDN (or create subdomain of you own) and tell AO to use that domain (in the CDN-field).

    Try disabling the “serve as static files” option in Autoptimize to let AO’s PHP take care of those headers maybe?
