Custom Header without Elementor

First off let me start off by saying this is by far the best theme I have worked it. I’m migrating a few sites from Betheme and Avada tho OceanWP as the new Google Lighthouse update is killing my SEO due to those bloated themes slowing down my pagespeed.

I would like to keep the plugins as minimal as possible, I’m already using WPBakery Visual Composer. I tried creating a new header to the library but didn’t see any WPBakery options in the editor.

Is there any way to create a custom header without having to install ELementor? Elementor looks nice but to convert all the pages I have from Visual composer to elementor will be a long task and I want to avoid that. I know I can keep ELementor and Visual composer at the same time but I don’t want to slow down the site by having multiple builders installed. OR will having Elementor installed just for the custom header not hurt anything? Thanks for any help in advance
