    Hi

You are probably talking about the demo import “WooCommerce Electronics

This header is created with Elementor. Go to WP Dashboard – Templates – Saved Templates and edit saved template “Header” with elementor.

With Elementor you can create your own custom header design – Documentation

That was exactly what I was looking for thanks.

Now I have another issue. I had to install my wordpress site and reinstalled the theme, then proceeded to import demo data for the Mobile phone template.

Everything is ok with the exception I ended with a different header (a one that has Free download button, there is a search icon instead of the search field to type in, etc.) you can see it at https://sf.mitienda.market/#

If I go to Elementor-saved templates and edit the header, I see the header I don’t want but it is not editable, and bellow is the header I want which is editable but is not shown in pages.

If you want enable/disable or switch the Elementor header, go to Customizer – Site identity and slect “Elementor custom header”

Why is some Elementor section not editable? It is not possible to answer you… However you can create your own or import/export your existing Elementor sections.

    thanks for your reply.

    Just to explain further

    1. The only header that is shown is whatever is defined in /wp-content/themes/futurio/template-parts/template-part-mainmenu.php, despite the changes that I made to the elementor header template

    2. If I try to create a brand new elementor header, it will automatically insert the current site header atop (as defined in /wp-content/themes/futurio/template-parts/template-part-mainmenu.php), and any additional elements I add are not shown in the site.

Don’t know if this clear or mess around.

Is there a way to attach some screenshoots into this post for clarification.

    Thanks again

Ok, you have created some “header” section with Elementor. That is good start. Now go to Customizer – Site identity and slect “Elementor custom header”.

Note: It is not possible to combine theme menu bar (with menu links and buttons) and Elementor header section. When you enable the custom Elementor header, this will remove the menu bar. Why? Because you can create your own menu with Elementor (with simple links or with Max Mega Menu plugin).

Let me try to explain my dilema

1.The original Elementor header that was automatically created when I imported the the sample data for the theme contains two sections, the one on top containing the logo, site menu and other elements, and that is not editable via elementor, and a bellow second section that contains again logo, a set of menu items and other elements that I can edit with elementor. The problem is that in the site, only the upper header element (the part I cannot modify with elementor) is the only one displayed.

    2. If I create a brand new elementor header. it automatically include an upper section containing logo, site menu and other elements that I cannot modify of remove. And if I add elements like a logo, texts etc. to this new header, those are not displayed in the site, only the upper section (not editable with elementor)

Is there a way to share with you some screenshoots that may clarify the situation?

    Thanks for your help

    Hi

You can upload images to your website (or some free image share services) and share the links here.

You are using outdated versions of Futurio theme and plugin. Update them first.

Your problem is not possible to replicate, if you modified some theme files, revert the modifications first.

    Here we go

This image https://imgur.com/hrXggkN contains the snapshoot of the elementor header that was automatically created when I imported the demo data.

This other image https://imgur.com/FcEDIY3 contains the snapshoot of how a bran new header looks like. The elements on the header are added automatically and are not editable.

    Best regards

    Here we go

Now we knows that you are talking about the Elementor templates editor (when you go to Templates – Saved Templates). These templates are used to create some default sections/designs and you can import them into post/page/CPT… These templates are not standard pages or posts…

To create your content use standard WP posts and pages.

If you have a problem with the header in the Elementor template editor, instead the “section”, create “page” (go to templates – add new and select page), hit the settings icon (cog icon located bottom left) and set page layout “Elementor Canvas or Full Widht”. Once you create your new header, go to Customizer – Site identity and slect “Elementor custom header”.

I;m still stuck with the header.

if I follow yours directions and go to template editor and select create new page and set it to canvas, the new header is not empty but contains upper elements I cannot modify or remove, and those items are the ones visible in the site pages, not the elements I might have added via elementor.

See this screen shot (https://i67.tinypic.com/10r34f4.png), how it looks if I follow the above instructions to create a new canvas header.

Bottom line, the theme demo data comes with a header I’m not able to remove or modify.

    Hi

Video tutorial is now available in our doucmentation page: https://futuriowp.com/docs/futurio/customizer-settings/custom-header/

    Important:
The default theme menu/header is NOT editable with Elementor and it will be always visible until you create new one and assign it in customizer (Go to Customizer – Site identity and slect “Elementor custom header”).
