Very bad support

THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE WORST SUPPORT EVER FOR ANY PLUGGIN ( OR IN FACT MY ENTIRE ONLINE PURCHASING EXPERIENCE)
While wordpress remain as a powerful platform with all the awesome plugins in the market, some blacksheep among the plugin providers has tarnish the reputation of the plugin market which directly hurt the reputation of wordpress.
Booking Ultra has to be one of those blacksheep, in fact the worst I have experience so far.
Had a error 500, send in a ticket marked it as urgent as our client need this plugin to take on the booking. So you guessed it, if the plugin doesn’t work, they cannot take orders and everyday is money.
I receive the first reply in a few business day, they apologies for the delay and said they will look into it. – FAILURE NUMBER 1.
Fine… give it few days. Still did not hear from them, our client is losing sales. Send in a chaser in the existing ticket. No reply again. – FAILURE NUMBER 2
My clients patience was running low when they see moneey but can’t collect it, which obviously affected me negatively too. I decided to open a new ticket to express my unhappiness and again seek their support. Guess what, response came in less than few hours later and again apologising and provided some potential product which they think might be the issue. The also mentioned, if they cannot find a solution they will offer me a refund. The refund portion really shaken my confidence in this pluggin. I am curious how can a service provider offer an exit solution so quickly when they have not even dive deeper to find out the problem and if there’s a solution here. It simply means how little they value you as a customer and wants to take the easy way out. Not doing anything and just return your whopping dollars.
I replied immediately to seek their help.
That was the last time I hear from them again. I did gave a couple days before my next follow up as I understands that they require time to look into it. But despite multiple follow up attempt, nobody came back to me. – FAILURE NUMBER 3
My client was at the breaking point and said if we cannot resolve this, he will change developer. For anyone who serve a client you know that it is not the easiest thing to acquire new customer, and if you do you will want to retain it. I lost my patience this time and decided to find a random fiverr guy to fix this. For just USD30, the man fixed the issue in less than 10mins. Why does a random guy can fix a plugin that does not belongs to him under 10 mins and the developer themselves takes days and can’t even provide a reply less a solution? – FAILURE NUMBER 4
Jeez!
If you are looking for a plugin that doe such thing, yes it does the job. But if anything goes wrong, do not bank on the customer support. It is the worst in class!
Pay your own developer and find your own solution.
