Custom fields, exports.

    Is it possible to export custom fields details?

    We currently have WPAdverts on a website for offers and need to do the same page on another website. We have a custom fields with a dropdown with all of the districts of a country. Is it possible to export that list from a website to import it to another website? Or do we have to copypaste them one by one?

    Hi,
    do you want to export the data or the form scheme created using Custom Fields extension?

    The data you should be able to move using some Import/Export plugin which can handle the custom post types.

    The form scheme created by Custom Fields plugin you can also move using some Import/Export plugin as the form schemes are saved as Custom Post Types with a post_type = “wpadverts-form”.

    If you do not want to use importing plugin to move the form scheme then on new site you can create a new form scheme using Custom Fields plugin and then copy the post_content (using phpMyAdmin) from the old post and paste it to newly created form scheme post_content. I have not tried it but it should work.
