• I just wanted to add my two cents…
I don’t like the Gutenburg “upgrade”. I’ve always been able to rely on WordPress providing backward compatibility and now I have seen minor layout issues suddenly appear and have 281 existing pages and 211 existing posts where they could possibly be appearing.
I know I can install the old interface, which I have, and that I can disable Gutenburg but these appear to be temporary solutions and I will still have to face Gutenburg sooner or later.
I don’t really have a question or want to provoke an argument or anything. Just consider this my belated vote against Gutenburg.

Maybe if your vote hadn’t been “belated”, it would have made a difference ??

You are absolutely correct George. I don’t tend to follow what’s going on with WordPress because I’ve always been pleased with the way things progressed without my interaction, so I didn’t know this was coming. Nonetheless you are correct.

Remember New Coke? It turned out to be a bad idea so they switched back.

what an absolute disaster. trying to carryout basic functions is a nightmare, why change it worked perfectly well, and before you say it…no its not much easier

I agree with Mrgaric, and NOT with George.

I used the plugin to disable Gutenberg. Gutenberg was a huge headache when I didn’t have the time to deal with it.

Gutenberg came like an avalanche, I don’t think we had much chance to stop it.
