Parent menu item

  • Does anyone know how to turn parent menu item into sub menu item? At the moment bars display the menu location so don’t need a parent menu word (item).

  • Hi

    You could do this one of two ways:
    1. Change the menu structure from Admin > Appearance > Menus (you may need to create a new custom menu)
    2. Change the page type itself to be a sub of another page by editing it and selecting the new parent in the dropdown.

    Hi,

    So by changing menu from admin appearance, I’m still going to be left with the same problem.

    I tried creating a new menu but the same problem is there – I can’t get rid of the parent menu item.

    Is there some special way you are doing it that I’m missing?

    I’ll try doing the sub page thing, but I’m not sure if it will work, unless there’s some special way you doing it?

    You mean going to pages – all-finding page-creating that page as sub of another page-selecting that sub of another page to be parent menu item-makes it not parent menu item?
