    Hello,

i have an issue with taxes for Croatia. I am sending from Germany and have set up that in every european country the normal german tax (19%) should be added. Exception is when the customer put his VAT-Number in. I have installed the Germanized Plugin, which allows to check the vat number automatically. If it’s valid it would delete the 19%tax, if not it would let it inside.
This worked two times without problems. But now i got two orders from Croatia. The customer didn’t registered to my online shop. The problem is now that they didn’t put any VAT-number but the tax is 0€ (like they put the VAT-number inside).
After checking in the settings (Tax) there were about 40 new lines(which were added automatically) with the new cities from the new customers. But there is normally written that it should add 19 %.
    Where could be the problem?

    Best regards
    morysk

I understand that under your standard tax rates, about 40 new tax rates were added for new cities customers checked out from in the past. Is this correct?

This those sound like a bug of some sort, coming from the Germanized plugin that you mentioned. This being a third-party plugin and not a functionality that comes with WooCommerce out of the box, there’s no much help we can provide in this forum. My main suggestion would be to create a staging website, and disable this Germanized plugin on that copy of the site. Place several orders there, and see if this extra tax rates are added. If they are not, this may point to the fact that they were created by a conflict on this plugin.

    Hopefully this helps!
