H . I love the idea of WP Central and I will check it out when I get a moment to look into it. Meanwhile, it dominates the top of my dashboard every time I work on my site. How do I dismiss it?

  • Mine went away after I connected my site to my wpCentral account.

    Hi,

@patrisehenkel the notice disappears the moment you add your website in wpCentral panel at https://panel.wpcentral.co as suggested correctly by @mikeshinobi.

You can simply add your website to wpCentral panel to remove the notice from your website and then you can keep exploring wpCentral at your leisure as you get time.

Should you face any issues, you can open a support ticket with us by emailing your query at [email protected].

I’d like to get rid of the header as well. If I connect through WPCentral in order to get rid of the notice, can I then unconnect myself?

And why do I have to make a new account with some other company (Softalicious?) in order to use WordPress? I don’t really want to join another site just because it’s required to remove a banner. There’s got to be a better way. It feels kinda extortiony to force me to join a site I don’t want to join and that doesn’t even seem related just to get rid of a banner.

    Hi,

If you do not want to use wpCentral, you do not require to signup to wpCentral panel. You can simply disable the wpCentral plugin from your Website’s dashboard.

However, we would recommend you to try wpCentral once wherein you can manage your multiple WordPress websites, their plugins, themes, backups & restore, etc easily.

Please let us know for further issues.

If you disable the wpCentral plugin from the dashboard, the message will go away.

    Hi,

@dasiacspriggs is right but before disabling the wpCentral plugin, please note that you won’t be able to use wpCentral then. If you want to use wpCentral and don’t want the notice to appear in the dashboard, you need to add your website on https://panel.wpcentral.co.

Please feel free to contact us for further issues.

    Hi,

We are marking the ticket as resolved as it looks like the issue has been resolved.

Should you face any further issues, please feel free to contact us.
