Plugin: Mastodon Autopost – Cannot Authenticate

    Mastodon Autopost takes me through the Mastodon authentication process and Mastodon recognizes the grant of permissions for cross-posting (WordPress Mastodon Autopost is listed as authorized in Mastodon) but the plugin somehow fails to return an authentication token or other credentials to WordPress since WordPress keeps asking to login tp Mastodon and will not autopost, behaving as if it had never been authenticated. I have tried using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin to create a Troubleshooting mode with only Mastodon Autopost enabled but that did not resolve the problem (but it did suggest the problem is not a conflict with any other plugin). Any suggestions? I would really love to use the plugin but so far I cannot get it to work.

    same problem here: WordPress Version 5.0.3 + Plugin Version 3.2.7

    Hi, same here, hosted in wordpress.com, the plugin redirects me to de main page of the blog, and the authentication does not occur.

    Should be fixed with version 3.2.7.5 as we switch back to the older auth flow. The new one seemed to make a lot of problems.

    Please give me a heads ups if it works for your and close the issue if so!

    Authentication now works but plugin fails to post photo images (which is what I am trying to use it for). Thanks for fixing the authentication issue. Check cybershutterbug on photo.social to see the results from the plugin.

    Photo should be fixed with version 3.2.8

    It not please open an github issue for it, as I do not get notified on issues here on www.remarpro.com :/
