Changing background color of pages and posts

I installed this plugin. It changes the background color both side of the screen but in the middle where the text on a post or page is unchanged.

I want the white background to be red like the edges. Screen attached.

Hello @htlecso,

You can provide custom css for the main content on the basis of page id. Please apply the below given css under Appearance -> Customize -> Additional Css-

.page-id-278 div#content {
background: red !important;
}

You can change red color with your choice of color. For different page you need to change page id.
