File upload not working on most android phones

    Hello,
    I use the standard file upload field with mdfile but the “upload” button doesn’t do anything on most android phones.

    Here is my CF7 code

    Is your site live? If so I can have a look at it.

    Also, could you please test the upload field on the plugin website on your android phone and let me know whether that works? If that one works for you, then it might be something to do with your theme. If it doesn’t work, then I might need to test on some more android devices (but it works from mine).

    Here is a test site with the theme twenty fifteen, only the contact form 7 plugin activated, and a simple test form with 2 fields : https://bit.ly/2RucfIH
    With desktop browsers it’s OK, as much as with Chrome for Android. But with the Samsung default browser it doesn’t work : the “browse” button don’t show the “choose file” popup. Tested on Samsung S9, C7, A7.

    Interestingly even this site works on my Samsung S9 using “Samsung Internet”.

    Regardless, my plugin only adds styles – it’s Contact Form 7 itself that creates the upload field, and even then it just creates a standard file upload field. So really, this is an issue with the Samsung Browser, not with CF7 or my plugin.

    Marking as resolved because it’s not related to Material Design for Contact Form 7.
