Shows Spam header in email

  • We are currently using Sendpress wordpress plugin (the free version) to send out our newsletters and email to our subscribers.

    I just found out that it send some phishing message along with the email like this:

    Be careful with this message Gmail could not verify that it actually came from [email protected]. Avoid clicking links, downloading attachments, or replying with personal information.

    This been going for a few times, this only appear on gmail email address not other email address.

    Hi,

    Are you using gmail as the from email in SendPress? Gmail has rules around what is allowed to send email with a gmail address as the from. Using a gmail address will cause that header to show. Feel free to email [email protected] if you still have an issue.
