• Really loved this plugin, and works great so far. However – in my case I’m pulling a calendar from Google Calendars and any URL included in the description of an event is inconsistently converted into a functioning URL once it gets displayed on my website through this plugin. Its a minor issue – but I can’t seem to find why this is happening.

  • Recently noticed this also. It used to show the link, but no longer. Has to be in the html behind the scenes. I’m looking into it. I’ll keep you posted. Please do the same.

It works if you create an actual HTML link (like this one), but it no longer picks up links and converts them to “linkable.”

    Oh wow! interesting! THank you!

While playing around with it – I also noticed that I fixed my specific issue simply by adding a carriage return after cut/pasting a URL into the description field of the event in Google Calendar. All the entries that had URL text, but not functional links on my wordpress page SimpleCalendar were events where I had simply cut/pasted links – and there was no carriage return after them. When I add the returns – SimpleCalendar picks up the URL correctly and its not fixed on my WP page. THanks!
