    What does this message mean and what can I do about it:
    0/101 images were successfully compressed, 101 encountered issues.

    There are 5 error messages (I show one – the others are all in the same folder):

    fern2 Could not find /var/sites/e/ebps.org.uk/public_html/wp-content/uploads/simple_photo_gallery/1/fern2-150×112.jpg

    I have deleted this folder but I don’t know where it is finding them from to complain about them not existing

  • @andrewleonard,

    Are you referring to directory or bulk Smush?

    Bulk Smush
    Smush individual images via your Media Library
    Andrew, you have 101 attachments that need smushing! Upgrade to Pro to bulk smush all your images with one click. Free users can smush 50 images with each click.

    @andrewleonard,

    Ok. Data from the Media library is used during bulk smushing. In your case, it seems that some plugin (I’m assuming – Simple Photo Gallery) was/is using a custom folder for images. That means, that even though you deleted the files, the links are still there in the database. You will need to manually sort through the database and remove missing references. Or you can just ignore this warning ?? If you decide to go over the database, make sure you have a backup, just in case you delete something extra.

    Best regards,
    Anton

    Can you tell me what table(s) in the database I should be looking in?

    @andrewleonard,

    I’d start with wp_posts and wp_postmeta.

    Thanks for your help
    I re-installed the plugin and deleted everything I could find
    I now have 25 wp_post and 75 wp_postmeta entries for non-existent images
    I have asked the plugin people for help
    Otherwise I will try deleting them
