  • You are trying to display posts by having Jetpack read a page? I think it wants a site URL, not a page.
    But support for plugins should be requested at the plugin’s support forum.

    Indeed you are right. JetPack wanted the site URL, not the actual post page. Even though the site uses a static front (landing) page, JetPack seems to be smart enough to figure out where the posts are. I, hesitatingly, wondering how can that be right, changed the address to the site URL, and lo and behold it works!
    Thank you for your response, you solved my problem. I had looked around trying to figure out where to ask my question, and didn’t get that right either.
