Can we get partial taxonomies such as YEAR, derived from publication year?

    I’d like to be able to create a list of books by Year.

    Year being Year of publication.

    And maybe even sort by the publication date in there.

    You’d would have to create a new custom taxonomy called “year”, then enter the year number you want in a review e.g., “2000”. Then reviews for that year will be available at example.com/reviews/year/2000/

    Yeah, but that’s entering the data twice…. Hardly ideal

    You can hide the “Published Date” metadata from displaying and only display the new “Year” taxonomy information. That’s the only solution I have.
