• Hi there,

I added a secondary menu under the main one, via the wordpress interface. The first line of menu is the principal, and the second line the secondary.
Everything was relatively simple and easy, but now I struggle with “responsivness” of this secondary menu.
When looking at the site on a phone, or a narrow window, the menu changes to a single “Menu” button, which one can click and expand. However, only the primary menu expands, and the items of the secondary one are not reacheable.

Is there a simle way to go around this?

    Thanks in advance:)
    Best regards,

I checked lhypercube.arep.fr on my phone but didn’t experienced any issues loading or using the second level menu links — both the top and second level are working as expected.

It looks like you have created a child theme based on Dara. If the problem is still occurring on your end, I recommend checking any CSS or custom code that has been added for the menu. Perhaps commenting out a few lines at a time to help narrow down if any of that is the cause.

    Hi Gemma,

    Thanks for your reply!

However I think I wasn’t clear. I did not have issues with second level menu entries, but rathers with the second menu itself.
When looked at on a computer screen, the first menu’s line is my “primary” menu, and for some reason that I don’t recall, i created a “secondary” menu which is the second line (starting with the Contact item).
It is this secondary menu that is unreachable from a phone.

    Hi @arepbogdan,

I see what you mean now, thanks for clarifying ??

I added a secondary menu under the main one, via the wordpress interface.

Dara supports two menu areas: one in the header and a social links menu under the logo/site title. While it’s possible to create multiple menus, only one can be assigned to the Header and Social Menu areas at a time.

I noticed your header menu is actually two separate menus, one stacked above the other. This isn’t default behaviour which suggests you may have used custom code or a plugin — is that correct? If so, I’m unable to help fix changes made using those methods.

One option would be to add all of the links to the Header menu in Customise > Menus. The menu would then automatically wrap onto a second line. Did you create two separate menus in order to wrap the menu links at a certain word?
