Opt Out Cookie per Page?

I have the same problem. The “slimstat_optout_tracking” is set relative to the existing path instead of the root “/”.

you can download the new code from our Github repository:

Unzip the file and simply overwrite the content of

/wp-content/plugins/wp-slimstat/

with the content of this zip file.

Please keep in mind that this might not be the FINAL release, so don’t forget to update again when the official version is released on the WordPress repo!

Jason, the cookie path is still relative.

If you try going here https://galen.si/izdelki/akupunktura/ and click “Soglasam” at the bottom, you will see that the cookie “slimstat_optout_tracking” path is set relative to “/izdelki/akupunktura/”.

If you go to the main page (https://galen.si/) you will still get the notice.

But if you click “Soglasam” at the main page, the path will be set to “/” and the notice will disappear on every single subpage.

It seems like “SlimStatParams.baseurl” is undefined on the line:168:

document.cookie = “slimstat_optout_tracking=” + cookie_value + “;path=” + SlimStatParams.baseurl + “;expires=” + expiration.toGMTString();

Maybe PHP is not passing ‘baseurl’ to SlimStatParams JS variable.

@davor_wp my apologies, I forgot to mention that you will need to deactivate the CDN option under Slimstat > Settings > Tracker. Otherwise it will load the tracker from the cloud, instead of locally. And of course we haven’t released the new tracker to the public just yet ??

Can you download the zip file again? You’re right, I had not pushed the latest code fix to the remote repository. It’s there now:
