• Trying to get the plugin to work, I get this message: Please enter an API key. I have my Admin login and password. I have my WordPress forums login and password. Neither of these works. So I assume I need another login and password to turn on a plugin. That’s wonderful. Streamline, I love it! Ok, so I follow the link that says: (Get your key.) It takes me here:
https://en.wordpress.com/profile/ which is a blank page. In tiny type I see: Please login to view your profile. “login” is clickable. I click on it and get a standard-looking Word Press Login page. I enter all of my existing logins and passwords and none works. Ok. So below the login area I see a link that says: “Get a free WordPress account” OK. So does that mean I currently DONT have a free WordPress account? Even though I have a working Word Press blog? Do I need to create a free WordPress account in order to turn on that miserable plugin where all there problems started? Can anyone tell me how to get this elusive API key? Thanks

Thank you, but I’ve been to that page. My API key is not where it says it should be. That page says: ‘you should see a sentence that says “Your WordPress.com API key is:”’ Well, that sentence is not there.

At the bottom of that page, however, is this text: “You must have registered here at wordpress.com to get an API key. Just having a wordpress blog somewhere else does not get you a key.” Hmmm, there is nothing clickabe in that text, so I wonder how I “register here at wordpress.com”? Afterall, I’m already registered for the wordpress forums and admin on my blog. Can someone send the link where I can “register here at wordpress.com”? Thanks.
