Can I set a Featured Image?

    Hi,

    Is it possible to have a Featured Image show up above the post title for each podcast episode “post”?

    Normally, when I create a blog post I can set a nice, colorful, featured image for it.

    But when I create a “blog post” for a podcast episode, I find that even though I can select and set a Featured Image, it will not show up when I publish the post.

    Is the featured image function somehow disabled by the Blubrry plugin?

    Any advice you can offer would be awesome – thank you!

    Hello @maggie96,

    The featured image is a function of your theme, it shouldn’t matter if you have a podcast episode or not, unless the theme itself registered types that you are selecting to tell it that you are creating a podcast. If that is the case, tell the theme its a post but continue to use PowerPress episode box to do your podcast. It is completely possible the theme developer thought that if you have an episode you do not want the featured image to show but i agree with you, I would always want the featured image podcast or not.

    Hi,

    Thank you – we got it figured out – not sure if it was due to the 5.0 update or the theme update – but the featured image is now showing up again.
