Include Ultimate Frisbee as sport

    Hello ThemeBoy.

    I really like how professional and easy to use is the SportPress plugin.
    I am evaluating the free version and how I can customize it to meet the requirements for Ultimate Frisbee statistic. If everything goes well I will buy the PRO version.

    But, have you evaluated to incorporate Ultimate Frisbee as a new sport?
    In my evaluations Soccer stats are pretty similar to Ultimate Frisbee stats, so the customization might look easy.
    The challenge I have found is to record statistics for the Spirit of the Game (SOTG). This is an evaluation after the match finishes. It sums how the team performs in 5 categories (each category might go from 0 to 4), so the team can reach a maximum value of 20. Further evaluation are averaged, in order to have and standing table for the SOTG performance.

    It would be very great (I would say awesome!) to have Ultimate Frisbee as an available sport and all its related stats. If so, I would immediately buy the PRO version.

    Thanks for your interest.

    Basically, I would like to have this https://www.byzdata.com/fpu
    That visualization was developed using Tableau Software and then embedded in a website.

    I would like to migrate to a wordpress scenario, given that has a natural user experiense a responsive visualization.

    As I mentioned above, the challenge is to map the SOTG statistics.

    I’m not sure if I’m missing something, but couldn’t the SOTG simply be a text field? In this way, you’d add the value for SOTG when you are adding the other stats for your event.

    If I do what you propose, can the text field be used within an equation? (given that the total team’s SOTG for a league or tournament is equal to the average of all the SOTG performances)?
    Can it also be used in a league table? (In ultimate frisbee the teams are ranking by their won games and also by their SOTG performance)

    I already tested and it works.

    One more question:
    Using the PRO version, can be this new event result variable be update via the frontend form by any other user, as the match results are updated?

    Your users can update their own stats fields using the front-end score submission. Therefore, any fields you use will be there.
