    On the main page I selected:
    Disable all updates: Enable
    Automatic updates: Custom
    Major WordPress Releases: Disable Major Releases

    Even with “Disable Major Releases” highlighted in green my sites are updating anyways! Please help. Do I need to change something? This plugin isn’t working.

  • I can confirm this happened in two of our production environments using this plugin.

    Out of interest Len, what did you have this constant set to in your wp-config.php?

    define( ‘WP_AUTO_UPDATE_CORE’, true | false | minor );

    By default WordPress won’t perform an automatic major version upgrade (such as 4.9 to 5). And EUM can only signal to WP to block automatic WP internal updates, not other types. So, it’s likely not something in WordPress that was automatic, but something external or manual; is it something your hosting company does? Or someone else logged in and did it manually?
