• I am using the Fusion theme and have installed the NextGen gallery but it is not showing up. I have used this plugin before with other themes and it has worked fine. I was using the 1.3.1 version of the NextGen gallery and then I read there were problems so I downgraded to 1.2.1 and the problem is the same. Here is one page where the slideshow is supposed to appear: https://nuestrafrontera.org/wordpress/

  • I dont see any conflict between the theme and the gallery on your site (viewing in Opera).

If you’re talking about the missing thumbnails – this is not related to the theme, and probably not with the plugin either. Looks like a problem with files upload…

The problem is the slideshow was not showing up. I deleted the gallery and added another but if i used the slideshow option nothing shows up: https://nuestrafrontera.org/wordpress/ On a Mac and have tested in Firefox and Safari and it does not appear. On a PC I have tried Firefox and IE and same problem. I’ve used this plugin successfully in my site: https://designintense.com/ — the home page has a slideshow. Any suggestions?

try and see if you get the same behaviour with other themes.
this way I know if it’s a plugin or theme problem

well since i already have tested it with other themes, as i indicated in my message, it seems clear that it is either a conflict with the theme or server. since this is a client project i guess i will have to look for a different plug in.

I installed nextgen gallery 1.3.3 on fusion 3.0.3, added a gallery and the images show normally. Clicking on a image will open the lightbox preview, “View in pliclens” opens a nice flash gallery and “Show as slideshow” will rotate images with a flash player (that you need installed in wp-content/uploads)…

Ok well I will try again but what I want for the home page is that the images are already a slideshow, no need to click, as with the example I shown: https://designintense.com/ — there I used the [slideshow id=X] which is what I want for this site.

I got it working. I think that when it was first installed something didn’t go right.
